I have a hard time finding jeans and pants that fit. One time I tried on 30+ pairs of jeans in one morning before finally finding something I could wear. I recently have found some jeans at The Limited. Before that, I think I bought some at Ann Taylor. Oh, and found a pair at Ross, too.
For jeans, I like the Lee natural fit. For slacks for work I like ann taylor loft julie fit pants. (I am short and pear shaped, so I have a hard time with the waist and hip areas on pants.)

I had the hardest time finding jeans that fit (and that didn't stretch out and make me have a saggy booty). I finally broke down and bought some True Religion jeans and LOVE them...but they are kinda pricey. I also found some cord pants at the JCrew Outlet in Dawsonville that fit great.
I like how Seven jeans fit. You can find them at Stein Mart and sometimes TJ Maxx for less than $60 which isn't cheap but also not over the top for a good pair of jeans. I like the rise, no too high, not too low, just enough stretch but they don't sag after wearing them for a few hours.
I have been buying a lot of my pants at Macy's. Style and Co, Levis and then for regular pants I think it is Alfani and there is another brand but I cannot think of. Oh and they have some good Docker twill khaki type pants too in different colors. They usually run between 19.99 and 42.99 if you find a coupon which they always have floating around it ends up being a pretty good deal.
I bought a pair of maternity jeans at GAP not too long along and I LOVE them. Probably one of the best pair of jeans I have had even pre-pregnancy. They're apart of their new 1969-or something- line, its good denim that has give, but doesn't really stretch out at the end of the day.
Also, I used to work at Express and they're jeans are pretty decent and with the economy, they have sales constantly. If you have hips at all, their Eva curvy fit is great.
My last little note, I also used to work at Fossil at Gwinnett Place Mall. Most people know of Fossil for their watches but, this store is the only one in GA and sells their line of men and women's apparel. Near the end of my "career" (hah) there, the company started selling premium denim. Their denim was GREAT. NEVER stretched. Sizes can did run small when they first came out but, find the right size and you're set.
Re: Where do you buy pants/jeans (for you) that fit well?
old navy, but i have to wear a belt (bleh) b/c they do stretch some.
i'm also not spending a lot of $$ on clothes lately, so i'm sure there are better options out there.
