So of course, lots of people are insisting that we are having twins. My grandmother says things like "oh wait until those twins really start growing.." and DF is talking about it constantly. Twice a week he comes home telling me about someone else he talked to who asked "have you ruled out twins? ..they didn't know we were having twins until our 20 weeks u/s" Don't get me wrong, I would love twins and so would DF, but we had a dating u/s at 8w4d and I don't think they miss a lot of "hiding" twins with modern technology these days. I told DF to quit talking about it because I don't want the two of us to get all excited about it. One baby is a blessing and I'm perfectly happy with that

I have had a lot of early/intense symptoms I guess, but I think it's just a coincidence.. Plus we just had a missed miscarriage 4 months before conceiving this one, so my hormones may have been all out of whack. I got my BFP at 9dpo.. 2 digitals. I started getting my morning sickness at 6 weeks and it was ALL DAY, EVERYDAY. I still get sick sometimes and I'm 15 weeks. I have been feeling movement (yes, I am sure) since 12 weeks and DF just felt it at 15.. it's frequent and sometimes in different places quickly. I got to hear the hearbeat at 9weeks.. VERY strong.. like a train

(which everyone is telling DF is what they heard with their twins.. but I read that it just means boy!) And lastly.. the reason why everyone is talking about twins- THE BELLY. My belly "popped" at about 9 weeks.. I tried to wear a flowy dress to cover up because we hadn't told people yet, but some people still noticed.. and by 13 weeks pregnant, I looked like I was about 20 (people would actually ask me "How far along are you.. about 20 weeks?"). Any twin moms on here not know they were having twins after their first ultrasound? I really think it is HIGHLY unlikely, but everyone won't shut up about it.
Re: It cAn't be twins!
I had u/s at 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks, and 13 weeks. It was VERY clear that it was twins at each u/s. I only had one week of m/s and my other symptoms aren't as severe as I thought they would be.
