I considered going this weekend just to see what was going on (I was REALLY uncomfortable) and decided against it. Just curious how many actually go :-)
Im not sure how to answer, yes or no. I went to L&D at 33 weeks and was in pre-term labor that they were able to stop. So...it wasnt really a "false alarm" but I didnt have the baby. I went because I was having contractions that were 2-3 minutes apart.

Kind-of similar story with #1 for me. I went a few days before DD was born, and then again the day before she was born. It wasn't "false labor" ... it was just not progressing. Contractions were real and coming ... just not doing much.
I went at 32 weeks when I began having contractions 3-5 minutes apart. They weren't causing any change to my cervix and they decided it was irritable uterus. They did a FFN (negative) and told me to come back if it happened again before 36 weeks.

I haven't gone at all this time around.
