recommend your diaper rash cream...

DD started with a little pink skin like three days ago, I have been using Destin to try and help, but this morning, she has some bumps down there too. Please recommend your fast acting diaper rash cream as I am headed to the store as soon as she wakes up from her morning nap. TIA

  • My pedi recommended clomitrazole 1%....it's athlete's foot cream but it will clear up the yeast from a diaper rash, too. It works like a charm for DS! Use it twice a day.

This. It's in a purple tube.

  • IMO, Triple paste cream is the best - super thick, and it clears up diaper rash within 2-3 diaper changes.  The stuff ia amazing!  DS hasn't gotten diaper rash since we bought it.
  • Forget anything with chemicals in it - Mix together a little bit of breastmilk (or aloe if you're not BFing) with cornstarch until it forms a paste.

Best diaper rash/eczema remedy in the world.

This mix works on eczema too? DS is starting to get it on his legs and even if I put lotion on him throughout the day it doesn't seem to be going away. May have to try this... Thx!

this!! We love Triple Paste. Our pedi recommended it and it works great. Like Butt Paste, it's kinda expensive but it's not a cream you would use everyday.

It works wonders on eczema. Both the diaper rash & eczema were gone within 24 hrs. (putting the paste on at every diaper change)

  • We love Butt Paste, too :o)

  • The little bumps sound like yeast diaper rash.  We used athletes foot cream for that and it worked great. Our nurse said to keep LO bottom dry (we used a blow dryer on warm) and get lots of air exposure.  She also said to keep up the treatment (air and cream) for two days after and if it didn't go away we would need to see the pedi.  For regular diaper rash we like to mix Butt Paste with Aquaphor.

  • take all recommendations with a grain of salt .... like most you'll have to do trial and error.

we took friends "advice" of Desitin and even tried some rec's of Vaseline .... so all in all ... we have tried Desitins, Butt Paste, Up & Up Brand, Johnson and Johnson Brand, Mustella ($11 for a tube!! ridiculous) the whole Vaseline bit .... the only thing that worked for us was Balmex and A&D.

  • We use Dr. Beaudreau's Butt Paste too!  I noticed DD  had a little diaper rash the other day and it cleared it up in no time.
