Too early to combine birth announcements and holiday cards?

I probably won't have the birth announcements done for a few weeks and at that point it's going to be practically Thanksgiving. Any ideas on how I can combine with my holiday cards? I don't want to wait until Dec to get her announcements out but I also don't think I have it in me to send back to back cards a few weeks apart to 100 people either.

    I think this is a great idea and am going to copy it!  I think you should just put something like "Happy Holidays from Baby X" and have a few of his/her pictures on there.  Everyone you send them to probably knows you had a baby and birth stats won't really be important.

    I think it's a good idea! Sending cards out is such a pain, why not minimize that pain by double dutying it? It took me 3 weeks just to address my cards..i just never had the time with a newborn.
