I am having another boy and trying to decide whether to use the same bedding or buy a new set. What have most people done? I kind of want to change the room but am just thinking that maybe I should save my money.

We got a neutral set so are using it for the LO..How do u know what you are having???
I didn't spend much on Colin's, just got some separates at BRU(only spent $40). I think that I will change the bedding. If the next is a boy he will have so many hand me downs in clothes that I think I want him to have his own "room". (I just had this talk with dh today)
Auslyn, I kind of agree with you. I think I want to change the room up so my son realizes that it's not his room anymore and I think it will make it easier to move to his big boy room.
I found out the sex and my 1st trimester screening...we got the money shot and no doubt that it's a boy. I will have another U/S in 2 weeks and the doctor said we should know for sure by then. But he said he is about 95% positive. The same thing happened with my first one...we were able to tell and the 1st tri screening.
We'll use the same set regardless. It's green, so GN.
Ditto this- I would rather save the $$ and buy something nicer for when they move to a bigger bed. Plus we have so much that goes w/ the bedding- the lamp, the valances, etc.
If this baby is a boy, we are going to get him his own set. I love D's current set and associate it with him - I want to keep it "his." We didn't spend a ton on it, and since the new baby will be wearing most of D's clothes, etc, I figure that his nursery can have a different vibe. Of course, this is all assuming that 1) we are having another boy and 2) I find a bedding set I love.
Congrats on your boy! I think if our next LO is also a boy we will do different bedding for him. DS's room is all in red and blue and I'd like something different for the next child.
Well, my first one is still using his bedding. And that purchase is one of the ones I regret about baby #1 prep (not worth the $$). So I got a different set, this time an inexpensive one from Target.
He's also in a different room, so we were making ove rthe guest room to be the nursery anyway (not spending $1 on new paint, either, just using leftovers from other parts of the house - YAY!).
I bought a new set for DS#2. DS#1 is still using his set and we plan on keeping him in his room. We didn't do it too babyish so he'll be set for a few years.

We're not pregnant yet, but if we have another boy, we'll use the same bedding. I love it, plus it will save us $.
Also, when the second baby baby comes, we'll have to get new furniture and bedding for DS's big boy room.
If our next is a girl, we will use dd's stuff. I am pumped about doing her big girl room and don't want to stress over doing 2 different rooms.
