  • I wasn't sure either, I registered for 3 and ended up with 6, and I figured I'd just keep them all

  • I think I have 2 or 3 for DD. You don't give them baths every single night at first (it's not like they're playing in the sandbox!), so you only need a couple. We only have 3 for DS (he likes the hooded, fun towels- my favorite is his ducky towel) and that's more than enough.
  • I have brand new soft as baby heiny towels that were never used from my bridal shower.  Maybe I'll just open them up and wash em to get them ready. They are pastel colors too.

  • I'm not sure, but we have 2 robes.  I do think he needs baby towels as well.  One of my friends said she uses receiving blankets.
  • I only have 2 and a bath bag.  I figure if I need more than that I can send DH out for some.

  • I've got about 8, which is way too many. DH and I don't even have that many!

I'm thinking we'd be fine with 2 or 3. And a load of washcloths.

  • I received so many when I had Jackson.  I want to say I have at least 5.....people love to buy blankets, wash clothes, and towels for some reason!  I would stick with one b.c you will probably get many more.
  • We have two... we switch between the two when one is in the laundry.

  • we only have one so far, that i bought from an consignment shop.  my MIL mentioned that she bought some as well.. but she hasn't given them to us yet. :) i would think you could get away with only 2-3.
  • I have 3.  I do laundry once a day around here, so that should be more than enough.

  • I think we wound up with 6 of them that came in a set with towels & the matching washcloths. ?But I have to tell ya that I read on here somewhere that you don't need special towels for baby- regular towels are fine! ?(And I love the bathrobe- my mom bought us one- but don't you think it's going to be a pain getting a?squirmy?little baby into a bathrobe? ?I'd rather go right for the towel... that being said, it does look adorable hanging on my bathroom door right next to mine.)

  • I say 3 is a good amount.  The hooded ones are nice to have.
  • I have three of the hooded kind. I may run out and pick up more because A.) I do not using a towel before being laundered and B.) I'm a once a week type of laundry person. So I think I need four more.

this. I got like 12 at my shower.

  • We ended up with 3, I can't imagine needing more then 2 or 3 though. Your not going to use that many towels at a time.
  •  I had about 6-7 w/ DD.  They are very handy with the hood any can be used for 3+ years.  Some of her larger ones still work for us now.  IMO, something worth having plenty of.
  • We have 3 or 4 and i'm not planning to get more unless I find that we need additional towels.
