  • yes, that's what I found.  I also used cabbage leaves in my bra, no joke.

  • i used cabbage leaves, bags of frozen peas, took sudafed (my doctor said this would help drying me up), and wrapped an ace bandage around my chest VERY tightly.
  • It only took me about 3-4d to dry up.  I wore a sports bra 24/7 with nursing pads to catch leakage, took sudafed, and placed a bag of frozen veggies on my boobs for 1 day.

  • I wore a tight bra 24/7 (except for showers!) for about 10 days and put cold cabbage leaves in my bra.  I had minimal discomfort and it worked for me.

  • I heard its not good to bind your breasts. I am weaning from exclusive pumping and today I started drinking sage tea. I don't know if its helping because I am down to pumping one to two times a day. I hope to get good results tomorrow! I also used cabbage and it did help dry me up a little bit, but I got a rash. The cabbage did help with engorgement.

Read these articles one and two they helped me a lot!

  • And Motrin really helped for my pain.  And I would manually express milk 2-3 times per day, just enough so I wouldn't leak.
