So, I made the Pioneer Woman's Apple Dumplings...

And OMG are they amazing. DH doesn't really like fruit type desserts, but he's eating them up like mad. 

I like privacy. A lot.

    I have everything but the Dew.

    I'm torn. Because I want these. Badly.

    But if I have Dew in my house, I will drink it. I haven't had real Dew since 2005. If I start, there may be no coming back.

    Do you have a grocery store or a gas station near by that would have a single bottle or can? That's what I bought. I used what I needed and dumped the rest!

    I almost made these yesterday but I had already eaten some cookies and didn't want to go into some sort of diabetic coma. The recipe is still up on my computer on another tab.

    You dont need the Mountain Dew!..Sprite...this is what my sister uses and they are delicious!

    DH was PISSED that I did it, too. Oh well!

    Besides, if you just get a can, you'll be dumping (or drinking!) less than half of the can. No biggie!

    Especially considering the fact that you'll be about to eat these dumplings, which are the furthest thing from low-fat on the face of the planet. What's a few ounces of Dew at that point?

    I'm actually thinking that I have a gallon of pressed cider in my refrigerator and there is no earthly reason I couldn't use that instead.
