question from a 1st tri

in 2nd Trimester
hey ladies. I was wondering if any of you had bright red bleeding during 1st tri? I went to the ER yesterday and they said it might be a m/c and might not. The bleeding has pretty much stopped now and I have no cramps. Going to OB tomorrow. thanks!

    I have had all sorts of bleeding, ranging from brown spotting to bright red gushing and everything's fine so far! Have them check your placenta position - mine was covering the cervix (previa) thus causing the bleeding. They think it's moved completely now and I haven't had much bleeding lately.

    Only when I had m/cs.  Otherwise this pregnancy was uneventful, bleeding/spotting wise.

    Yes, I had quite a bit. Was put on bed rest and eventually it stopped. From my experience they always call it a threatened miscarriage.

    yeah that is what they are calling it..."threatened." I was also put on bed rest and I am hoping the baby is okay. My boobs are still sore and I am hungry every 2 hours or so. Hopefully everything is okay. thanks so much!

    I had bright red bleeding in 1st tri with ds.  I bled at 7 wks and at 12.  Both times they never found a reason for it and everything was ok.  Hope all turns out well for you.

    yes, bleeding at end of 1st tri- through early  2nd tri. No cause found. It is very stressful, just keep getting checked by the Dr. and rest. I'm now 4 weeks w/o any bleeding.

    I had a polyp on my cervix that caused me to bleed brown, pink, red and pass clots. I had issues from 8 to 12 weeks, at 12 weeks my OB twisted off the polyp. No issues since.

    DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.
