Does the bump confuse your DH?

Mine is completely confused as to how I can sit on my laptop and chat with people I don't know IRL about things that he considers family decisions.

He however always asks me what the drama is at night, and last night I told him a bunch of drama was started over freezing meals, and some snarky comments about freezing meals.

His response "Women actually get on a forum to argue over freezing meals? wow you really need a more constructive hobby! Maybe something like making meals to freeze? *sarcastic voice*"

I was just wondering if your DH is confused by the idea of arguing on a website about stuff that only affects your family.

My Dh thinks it's silly ... but then again i think his fantasy football and poker for no money on facebook are silly ... we tease each other equally

My DH loves the bump, it gives him "him time" to play a game or watch Tv while I bump lol. But he also doesn't understand the fights that break out on here....He thinks it sounds like high school at times....I agree

My DH has never "gotten" it. Not when I was addicted to the Knot last year while planning our wedding (particularly my anniversary board) and not now that I'm on the Bump either.

This is funny!! Whenever we ask each other questions about if we should get something, how we should do something, he always tells me to just "bump it" and see what the other mamas are thinking!!

He does ask me about the drama daily too

He swears i'm addicted to this site. That and why I care about who went into labor and who's getting induced. He's like your never gonna meet these people why are u all concern.

the thing that drove him the most nuts was that I added a vote on baby name thing. He was like why does their opinion count?

I told my DH that it is nice to have people you can talk to that actually want to talk about pregnancy stuff all the time or whenever you feel the urge. I think he is relieved that I don't constantly talk to him about it.

my H usually asks me "how're the ladies doing?" when he sees me glues to my laptop. he's used to it by now and i think he's grateful i have some place to get answers when i need them.

My DH thinks it is a great place for me to talk someone else to death about my pregnancy,lol. This is our third and I still love talking to other pregnant mama's. The drama also gives us something to laugh about when things are boring at home. Like yesterday with the freezer meals and someone talking about cooking a fresh meal with an ice pack in their underwear and nursing the baby, hilarious!

Nope, there's really nothing confusing about it, in DH's opinion. A bunch of women with shared interests talking about various topics, occasionally getting snarky with one another. What's to get? Wink

My DH doesn't get my obsession with the internet in general. He finally signed up for FB but only goes on every other week or less. However, we have VERY different personalities, and he appreciates thtat my obsession with the internet can be pretty productive at times!
