I am a total foodie. ?I love to eat good food and have been known to wake up in the morning before breakfast and start to think about what I am going to have for lunch and dinner that day. ?
So naturally, I have been thinking if I knew the day I was going to go into labor what I would want to be my last meal beforehand. ?
Right now my mind is telling me a huge juicy steak and big bowl of creamy pasta....
Re: What would your last meal be?
Something with mashed potatoes. Or macaroni and cheese.
Or maybe just a big bowl of mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.
Not for my "last meal" but, rather, my first....
I am all about a good steak too! I have already informed DH that I would like a meal delivered at some point after I deliver. I think a nice steak, baked sweet potato and a salad sounds like the perfect "good job on pushing that kid out" present.
That would probably be better than what I am thinking. I think my choice is due to being super hungry right now.

Pasta or chinese food and a special dessert. BUT if I knew I was going into labor I would not want to eat because of the whole pooping thing. I know I would need my energy but still...
If I don't go naturally, and am being induced I think I would make a pot roast, carrots, potatoes and biscuits!
I know it sounds heavy but it would be so delicious!
My mouth is watering now though..
carb overload. fried fish with tartar sauce, mashed potatoes, AND mac and cheese. and a yeast roll with butter. oh, and some chocolate cream pie. all from luby's.
Now, that is a GREAT idea. ?I may need to tell my DH about this.?

What the heck is a yeast roll?
We really have different delicacies in different parts of the country....
LOL. i dont know if they're different than just regular rolls, but they are very fluffy and light.
edit: they also are a little sweet.
I told my husband that as well...once I delivered I wanted nothing to do with food.
It would be one of the following:
a huge plate of baked ziti with the top of it browned perfectly (I LOVE the crunchy on the top!!!!) and garlic bread
OR
enchiladas with rice & beans from our favorite Mexican place.
ditto. i lived on grilled cheese for about 2 weeks afterward b/c it was the only thing that sounded appealing to me. a big shift from being pg and eating everything under the sun!
