We have a box of old costumes that we use when handing out treats. We usually get around 100 kids! We also have a big pumpkin carving contest each year at our house before Halloween. We usually dress up in couples-type costumes: little red riding hood and big bad wolf, strawberry shortcake and purple pieman...This year has been hard because I don't know what to be. A friend suggested Scott and Lacy Peterson but that is a little too morbid for me. Someone on here had a cute Snoopy idea for a pregnant lady. She took a white men's t-shirt and then stuck felt on it to look like snoopy's head. My bump isn't "out there" like that though so it might not look right on me. My cousin was a redneck pregnant lady a few years ago. She wore a men's white T, put some stains on it, put her hair in a side pony, had a fake black eye and carried an empty beer car. The funny thing is that my BIL believed the costume! He said "Wow your cousin is really looking rough. Is she ok?" haha
We are printing out an iron on transfer that I'll put on a maternity tee that has a bun in the oven, and he's gonna have a shirt that says "the bun maker". We are just taking kids trick or treating. No party this year, so we're gonna wear those
