Gripe water and sttn

My dd sttn, I cannot believe it. Usually she sleeps one period of 3 hours and then is up like every hour fussing. Well last night I tried gripe water and she slept for 6 hours, she woke up I fed her and she had hiccups, I gave her another dose of gripe water and her hiccups went away instantly. She went back to sleep for 3 more hours. I am so happy. Not sure if it is coincidence or the gripe water is a miracle!

    I use Gripe Water when DD has hiccups.. but I haven't seen any relation with her sleep patterns... Gripe water is also good for gas an colics, maybe your DD is more confortable now.

    I need to get this - LO is gassy and we use Mylicon but I'd like to try gripe water, too. Is there one brand that's better than another? Thanks!

    What kind of gripe water do you use? I'm not sure where to find any but online.

    I bougth the store brand, no alcohol.

    In Canada you can find it in drugstores, or grocery stores, otc in the baby section... Is it not the same in the US?

    It works GREAT for hiccups! I have been afraid to give it to him at night because of the sugar, but maybe I will try it after all!

    Gripe water is at most drugstores and grocery stores in the US. I'd be willing to bet that the OP gave her LO the kind with chamomile in it, which most definitely helps with sleep! They all have fennel and ginger, but only some kinds have chamomile. We give the one with chamomile for nighttime fussiness, and it works wonders.

    We swear by Wellements, they sell it at Whole Foods for about $12 a bottle. We use about a bottle a week. It is completely organic, has no sugar in it and also has chamomile,  which I agree totally calms her. Just to let you know, the Little Tummies brand that the sell at drugstores is not really good from what I hear.
