PIPs: Only if you're bored and honest!

We have our very first set of ENTIRE family pictures this weekend. It's never been all 4 of us, and I always nitpick our pictures like crazy. I'm finally getting decided on outfits, but now I need help with hair. I need help with DD's hair, because although her hair is growing and much longer, it's still quite unruly. And with my hair...I never know what to do with it. It's pretty unruly itself, and I really just don't want to decide anymore, so do it for me! TIA

DD:
Like this, but with some gel in it so they're not so poofy?

Or like this, just severely gelled so it stays in place?

Me:
Like this, but curls not quite so tight? (Pardon the stupid face, it was late Christmas Eve)

Scrunched?

Or like this, but my hair is a couple inches shorter now.

I am more for the casualness in family photos (my opinion). I like your hair in the picture you took with your friend and do whatever you want with your daughter. They are only this cute and little once!

I think the pigtails on your DD are super cute and so what if they are a little poofy?

Re: your hair, I think the first one looks lovely, but none look bad at all! If you normally do not straighten your hair, then I am thinking one of the curly ones makes more sense though, if you want to look like "yourself."

A lot of people are unsure of whether my hair is straight or curly because I'm pretty even as far as how often I do it that way. The nonscrunched curly picture, I don't do that as often, but I always feel the most dressed up when I do that one, because it's not like my hair normally is. The straight hair pic I did use a curling iron on the bottom, which I've only ever done in that picture, but I probably would have done it again, because I liked it better than plain straight. And I like DD's pigtails too

I love love your DD's pigtails!

As far as your hair, I really like the first one. It may look a bit more dressy than the other two, but if you're wearing more casual clothes for your pics I think it would be a nice balance.

I like your DD's hair down for photos, maybe with a little clip? And I like your hair in the 2nd pic best since it looks the most natural. Straight looks nice too so whichever is easier for you.
