Babies: 9 - 12 Months

So I had a showing on my house today.

I cleaned for days.  I made everything perfect.  I had such a great feeling about this one.

UNTIL I came home.  DH and I noticed it smelled a little funky in the house.  We both chalked it up to the trash (although I did tell Dh to take it with him when he left).

I went down in the basement to get lunch...and there it was.  The dog shiit in the basement.  And not a normal one....and runny, gross one.  And the smell was overwhelming.

So, all that hard work...for nothing.  I'm sure those people won't buy the house.

I'm so bummed.  I think god just wants us to live in this house forever.

  • OH NO! You know, if a house I viewed really was spotless and I liked the actual house, I would chalk up the dog poop in the basement as an accident that happened right before I arrived. I really wouldn't judge. GL!

  • If I were looking at a house and saw that I wouldn't think much of it.  I would think differently if it was the middle of the living room floor.  Don't worry about it.

  • Don't worry!  When we looked at our house there was piles of dog hair all over the living room.  The rest of the house was very clean.  It was obvious that the dog had some kind of roll around/sheding party when the owners were gone.  I doubt anyone would not by the house based on some dog poop, especially if they have animals.

  • I agree with the others that if I was looking @ your house and saw that, I would look past it. It isn't a flaw with the house!
