Painting question

Do you think this will be too busy?  I'm thinking of painting 1 of the playroom walls with multi-colored stripes and then 1 wall will be chalkboard paint and the others will be a beige color.

    I think it would be cute if you made the chalkboard in the middle of the striped wall. LIke tape off the middle of the wall and frame it in the middle of the striped wall, kwim?

    what color will you paint over the chalkboard paint? or are you leaving it black? i think it sounds cute.. how many colors in the stripe wall?

    The room is ~11.5' x ~14.5' with lots of natural light - it's a loft.

    So I was thinking just black chalkboard paint and then bright colors for the stripes - green, yellow, orange, red and blue.  But maybe I could do those colors, but more diluted.

    I like Britti's idea.. when we do our chalkboard wall we are going to do squares and frame them. that way she knows she can only draw in certain places.. sounds really cute.
