If your LO is < 6 mo and in daycare

Don't flame, I know people get mad about the media blowing the H1N1 thing out of proportion. But, it's bad enough here in Kansas that they have stopped testing for it and are treating everyone with flu symptoms as if they already have H1N1.

I work out daily and put DS in the gym nursery for about an hour. DH is an EMT and told me that he'd rather wait until DS is old enough to be vaccinated to put him in the nursery. I was just curious as to if other mothers with LO's DS's age are concerned also. TIA, sorry if this has been asked about a lot!

    I'm worried about the flu, but not willing to become a shut in just yet.  Do you have another option for getting to the gym?  Is there someone else who could watch DS?  If not, I think the benefits to your health and mental health of getting to the gym, outweigh the risks.

    DD goes to day care every weekday. She has already gone through the regular flu, so I know what to watch for and it is treated the same way. I can't keep her home, so we are just going to continue to take as many precautions as we can (washing hands, etc.).

    Our little one is in daycare 5 days a week. Yes, I am concerned about any type of flu virus/cold she may get. We don't really have a choice though since we both have to work full time.

    Definitely, worried, but DS goes to daycare M-F. I have to make a living!

    I totally understand not having a choice if you have to work. But PP, I agree about the mental/physical benefits of the gym outweighing the risks. DH has a rotation where he works every other day for now, but he will be starting a second job soon. For now I will only go on the days he is home but I may just suck it up when he starts working every day.
