Grocery cart seat belt? WTH!

OK, I know DS is big...but good lord he isn't that big.  He tried putting him in the cart today at Safeway and the seat belt would not fit around him!  Has anyone bought their own seat belt?  I see a few online, can anyone recommend one?  Thanks!

    we just use the belt on our shopping seat cover.

    We bought a little shopping cart cover that goes over where they sit and has a seat belt at Target.  It's nice because it keeps them in place better and also protects against germs during this nasty cold/flu season!
