Kohls: great place to buy toys

Not sure if many of you shop at Kohls but I was there today and all their FP toys were 40% off and if you have a credit card with them you can save another 15% with their coupons at the moment.  I had forgotten they had toys until I went today so I will be buying some of Ds's Christmas presents there for sure.  I got him a little Wonder Pet set that was priced $9.99 originally, with the mark down and a coupon I received I got it for $5.

I got a flier from Kohls and it looks like next week the FP discounts are going up to 45%, plus they have a ton of kids books.
  • I looked at them yesterday too. Sadly, they mark their stuff up at least 40% over actual market prices so at best you're actually saving about 15% off amazon prices (and our tax rate is 7% and since you don't have tax on amazon you save maybe 8%). I mean, 8% is nothing to sneeze at, but it just irritates the_hell out of me how they mark their stuff up just to put it on sale.

That being said, I did buy two toys yesterday at about $1 ea. less than amazon.

  • I recently discovered that they also have baby gear online.  The swing that I want at BRU is $89.99.  They had the same exact swing at Kohls, on sale for 39.99!  Even the regular price is $69.99.  And with the extra coupons...even better!
  • Heck yeah it is!  Especially when they're doing Kohl's bucks.  I'm a Kohl's addict.

  • I agree. Last Xmas time I got DS a lot of toys from there.

exactly... I saw Lydia's push/ride toy at Kohl's for 40% off and it was still $5 more than Target's regular price.?
