Hi everyone.  I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Sandra and I just moved to the Lansing area.  My husband and I are expecting our first at the end of May and are very excited about it.  Just hoping to meet some new people in the area.

    I am originally from around Stratford, Ontario, Can.  Just moved here in middle of August.  My DH works at MSU as a history prof. 

    We have a crazy little puppy named Carter.

    I don't know what else to tell you. Can't wait to get to know you guys a little better.

    Just want to introduce myself, Im Melissa and im expecting my first! Im 10 weeks 1 day along, I actually live in Saginaw but with the location search Lansing was the closest, GL to everyone, its great to be apart of this community :)

    Hi everyone!  I'm new to this too.. I just found out YESTERDAY that I'm pregnant!!  DH and I are beyond thrilled, but also kinda scared.. all normal feelings, I'm sure!  I'm making an appt. today with my OB.. Now I'm just worried about carrying a healthy baby.  I'm going to buy the "What to Expect When You're Expecting" book, are there any others you might recommend?

    I recommend "the Joy of Pregnancy".  It is awesome, and less scary then WTEWYE.  Don' t read too much, it can freak you out :)

    I'm new here too.  I'm expecting my first (a boy) in February.  I'm at 23 weeks, but just discovered this site the other day while trying to decide on a name.

    I've had a heck of a time finding a decent selection of maternity clothes near by--any suggestions?
