Crap, do I delete them?

Two of my best friends from high school got married. And now they are divorced. I am friends with them on Facebook because I refuse to "pick sides". There was no cheating, nothing bad happened. They just grew apart.

Well now they are fighting, on my Facebook. It is on one of my pictures, here are the comments:

Ex-Wife: One of these Joes should be untagged! He's cute but a big 'ol jerk! And P.S. where the hell can I get a Large pizza for only 6 bucks!?!?! I command you to tell me.

Ex-Husband:When writing " ol' " the apostrophe goes in place of the letter you are replacing. Just another friendly reminder from your neighborhood jerk.

Should I delete the comments or just pretend I didn't notice?

Re: Crap, do I delete them?

  • Delete the comments. I 've deleted comments I deemed inappropriate like one of DH's friends calling my DH being silly in a pic a "retard" Surprise

  • Yeah, delete the comments.  My BIL has put inappropriate things and I've deleted them in the past.

  • i would delete but not say anything. hopefully they'll notice and get the idea. if they do notice and ask i'd say that you love them both and you're not interested in picking sides so kindly fight on their own walls.

  • umm... ya, I'd delete the comments. How immature of them to be "fighting" on something public and on your FB page! Maybe if you delete it they'll realize some things should just stay private.

  • I would delete, and probably change my setting so they can't comment on future stuff. Either that, or just unfriend both and let them fight elsewhere.
  • Thanks ladies! I deleted the comments. It's strange because as far as I know that would have been the first time they have "talked" in months.
  • I have no problem deleting inappropriate comments.  If they ask about it, be honest with them - you don't want them fighting on your profile.
  • Maybe you should comment with a quick "grow up" type of comment.  J/K  It would probably be best to just delete the comments.

  • Yeah, it's good you deleted.  That's annoying that they would do that on your page.

I deleted my BIL's comment on a picture of my DH (his brother), he called him an "F" word for a homosexual.  I deleted it and told him to never, ever leave comments like that on my page again.  He knew I was pissed and apologized.
