I went to the doctor for the anatomy u/s on Thursday and the dr said GIRL! And my boyfriend asked if there was any chance that "he" could have been hiding a weewee, the dr laughed and said no, it's all girl. So I'm fairly confident she is right but I know it's possible for her to get it wrong. So...did any of you end up with a boy when they said girl, or vice versa?
Re: Chances doc is wrong about gender?
Your boyfriend said weewee? lol. He knows the baby comes out of the vagina, right?

My friend was told boy and had a girl, but the ultrasound was the day before she delivered (at full term) and there really wasn't much space in there to see.
Both times, the ultrasound has been right for me. I was told boy at 16 weeks, and have a boy. this time, I was told girl at 18 weeks, and it was confirmed by amnio.
I think most ultrasound techs and docs can tell what they're looking at, most of the time.
We had an US done at 19 weeks were the tech said girl and DH and I were in such a state of shock that I forgot to really keep looking at the screen. Well after a month of annoying him and not believing it could be a girl because that woudl be my luck (we have 2 little boys) we paid for a 3D ultrasound in which I had told her what the original tech had said, and first shot that we saw on the screen was of her behind and there was no doubt about it...GIRL!
) And this time I got to see her 3 lines many times on DVD. Like a PP said, you should invest in a 3D u/s if you can for peace of mind.
Uhh. Noooooo... everyone knows it comes out of the hoo-ha.
