One of my husband's FB friends found a burmese python in their dryer. I crawled in through the outside vent and was killed by the blower fan. But I nearly died when I saw the picture. I now have my husband checking all our vents outside and making sure that screen thing is secure. His friend has a picture holding it, about 3 feet long. But didn't want to post that because it shows his friend also. But here is the snake and where they found it.

Re: OMG, snake found in dryer - PIP don't open if you hate snakes

That would freak me out!
on a side note...love ds's birthday cake-it is super-sized!!
I'm not a fan of snakes, but it's kind of sad that he got out & was looking for warmth in the dryer vent and ended up being killed.
That being said... no pet snakes in my house, ever.
omg- I thought the SAME thing. I mean, snakes are yucky and I'm not a fan of them but I hate the thought of any living creature suffering then dying. I'm sad for the snake.
Ahhhh! None in nyc hopefully
What a terrible way for that snake to die. Poor thing.
On a side note, we found one in our apartment in college. It was almost 7 feet long. We called animal control who referred us to a snake catcher. I had my window open w/o a screen (top floor apartment) and thought the snake climbed up the tree and into the window but the snake catcher thought it came through the toilet.
Bubblegum Explosion
I would freakin' die. Die I tell you.
I would throw out my whole dryer. Seriously. How would you ever get python blood out of the inside of your dryer?
What!?!?!? I live in WI... Oh... I'm very creeped out right now. I think I would have ran and not gone back to the basement for months...
