Is your DH hunting today?

Mine just took off for the 1st day of hunting season and asked me if I wanted him to bring me home a "prize" and if I wanted my meat made up in hamburger or steaks. :-/  I hate hunting and I hate deer meat. I hope the body lotion I rubbed all over his boots keep the deer away.

    The thought of my DH hunting makes me giggle. I would be more inclined to be out there than him! I am from KY after all.

    Our season does not start until the first weekend in Nov. He will be gone friday-monday that weekend...I feel the same way! The only thing I will eat are the sticks...they got some good ones last year, hot cheese. But I DO NOT like cooking it all, the smell of raw venison is enough to make me sick!

    No, thank God. ?DH doesn't hunt unless he's dragged along by my dad, brother, and other assorted male family members. ?I hated hunting season as a kid- we'd all go to my aunt and uncle's in the country and when they'd bring in their deer at night I'd just sob.

    I wish he was!!! Deer meat is very tasty when prepared the correct ways.. He loves to hunt but is working on the house instead-Damned if do damned if dont

    Rifle season doesn't start until November.  He has threatened to start bow hunting...but I know better than that!!  He isn't big into goose and duck hunting, but he does occassionally pheasant hunt.
