AW: Happy 1 week left to meeeeee.....

Good Morning! I just had to AW being a week away from the due date. This is getting exciting! =) My OB told me that she would prefer that I not go more than a week beyond my due date so that means I will get to meet LO, at most, in 2 weeks. YAY! I can't wait to hold him for the first time.

    Ahhh yes, I remember the hopeful excitement that filled me at 39 weeks pregnant when I thought I would meet my LO in just about a week.  Haha... hopefully your baby will come soon!

    LOL! I think that I may be almost as excited about this being my last possible week at school too. At this point, I have done everything I can to make it easier for my assistant and the long term sub while I am gone. They should count their blessings that I lasted this long and that I care about what happens while I am away. 4 more days (there is no school this Friday)....4 more days.....

    I made it to 38w3d in school (I teach hs)... luckily I didn't have to do any long term sub plans... a long term sub (certified teacher) was hired to replace me while I am gone (through April, possibly longer) and he is totally on his own!

    I'm debating if this should be my last week of work too...but I am feeling pretty good so I don't know if I want to use my days until I have too! My maternity sub has been with me since the first day of school so I know that she will be fine with the kids. It is still hard to give up my classroom! But I could be looking at 3 more weeks until this LO comes so maybe I should just keep working!

    My last day of work should be Wednesday...unless this baby decides to come out sooner....**hint hint baby**
