are there any side effects other then the maple syrup smell?

What did you start at 2 at every meal?

No other side effects for me. I started at two twice a day & now I'm at three 3x a day. I had to work my way up, lol. I'm also taking Blessed Thistle so, in addition to my prenatal vitamin, that's 19 pills a day! Surprise

Is there a difference between fenugreek seed and just fenugreek?

I took 4 pills 3 times a day and other then making me stink all the time, it gave me a headache....even though it says it suppose to prevent them.

I did notice a difference but it wasnt a large one, maybe 5-10mls but it works for many many women.

My LC said some woman have to take it for upwards of a month before they see a difference. I took it for 3 weeks.

I now take Reglan, Goats Rue and More Milk Plus, 3 times a day and its not doing anything for me either so maybe my low supply is unfixable.

You can start with any dosage right away, I was told. I started with 2 pills 3 times a day. You can increase it till you notice a difference.

5-10mls... what... thats bananas.

Im still keeping up with her ::crosses my fingers:: but im scared Im going to fall behind... and I only have about 12 oz in a freezer stash... not enough.. but I am also like 3 days ahead with milk ... I am just hoping to get a few more ounces, I wont be greedy but SOMETHING anything LOL

I EP but Ive been putting her to breast once a day to hopefully help.

Incase you are wondering why I EP its because I get very nervous she isnt getting enough from me. After she was born it must have took longer for my milk/colestrum to come in because she was down almost a 1lb from birth to a few days later had low blood sugar and a temp drop... It ended up putting her in the NICU for tests which just came back with not enough colestrum... let me tell you 3 days in a NICU a spinal tap and a run of antibiotics will freak you out.. LOL

I have noticed a very slight increase over time. It seems to be very gradual for me. I will take anything though!

I don't think there is a difference between Fenugreek & Fen Seed. The first bottle I had said Seed on the front & the one I have now from GNC just says Fenugreek. But under the ingredients it says seed. Different brands just come in different doses, concentrations, etc. That first bottle I took was liquid-filled capsules & they were disgustingly potent (hence me only being able to choke down two twice a day, lol). The bottle I got from GNC is much better and doesn't make me want to hurl at the sight or smell (or thought) of it, haha.
