When you and LO started solids did you feed them in the AM, afternoon, or PM?? And how did you come up with that decision? Just curious.
My thoughts are Landon is happier during morning/afternoon hours than he is at night. So I much rather introduce cereal then.
DH's thoughts are to feed him at night so he sleeps through the night.
Thanks for your answers. :-)

Re: Starting solids ?
I'm with you on this one. We didn't start solids until 6 months. When we did start we did feed her in the morning or afternoon, usually right after a nap, so she would be well rested and happy.
It took her a while to enjoy solids and I think it would have been harder if we'd fed her at night when she was tired.

I started them at night. When she woke up in the morning all she wanted was a boob. And I had trouble figuring out the timing for them.
Ya know wake up have a boob. 1.5 hours later nurse to nap. Then up wanted a boob.
And our pedi said not to cut out nursings at that point. So I just gave it to her in the middle of her longest stretch without nursing. So in between her afternoon nursing to nap & dinner was when we did it. So she'd nurse at 3 and go down for a nap. Up at 5 eat a solid (cereal, veggie, etc) and then continue to nurse as normal.

I think we are going to start this weekend in the AM (thanks to all DH's Mommy patients who say it makes a world of difference....it makes me so mad because most of what I've read says it won't change STTN) and see how he does with it. Depending on that I may have my mom feed him during the day or do it at night when we get home. They are growing up way too fast!!!
