I need to vent...and it is a bit long.

The cold I've been nursing all week hit my lungs yesterday, so I drove the hour to the doctors this morning with clingy, crabby, teething 15 month old in tow.  I have bronchitis.  Great. 

So I get the antibiotics and the steroids after a 30 minute wait, and head for lunch.  Steak-n-shake is closest to JoAnns, so we go there.  There is a 20 minute wait - Is that ok?  No...DS is VERY hungry and tired.  I bribe DS with some crackers and we move on to JoAnns to run in quickly, get knitting needles for KAL.  They have a very poor selection and NONE of the needles I need.

So we go to Panera.  That part goes well.  DS is well-behaved and eats a good lunch.  Then I head an hour north to my wonderful yarn store.  They have everything.  DS sleeps the whole way there.  Good.

I get to the store and they don't have everything.  They don't have 16" circular needles in any of the appropriate sizes.  Ugh.  They can order it and they should be in in 7 to 10 days.  I decide to go home and order online. I pop into the coffee shop for a feel-better treat.  It is delicious, but lukewarm.  Then the stomach pains start.

I am home now, thank goodness.  Time to brew sufficiently hot tea and play with super-clingy little boy.  And shop online for some knitting needles.  

I am so grateful to have this venue to vent...thanks, ladies.  I know it will get better from here on out.
