Is your lo trying to hold the bottle yet?
Dd pushes my hands away, and tries to hold the bottle. Only she can't hold it up high enough or long enough to drink out of it. Then gets mad at me, because shes not getting her food!!
We have gone from 15 minute feedings to an hour, and that's if she finishes the bottle. She has been drinking half, and then about 30 minutes later drinking the other half.
Does anyone know when they are supposed to be able to hold their own bottle?
I hope I don't have too long of this craziness!
Re: 4-5 month mommies re:feedings..
This is sooo DS. It used to take 10 minutes for a feeding and now between looking around and trying to hold the bottle it has taken 30-45 minutes. We go into a dark room and that seems to help dramatically.
He tries to hold it, but ends up pushing it away.... heheh.
People talk about 'milestones' like walking, crawing, etc. When he can hold the bottle, THAT will be my favorite milestone.
No, he has no interest in holding his own bottle.
Every once in a while he'll put one hand on it, but it's more like he's resting it rather than trying to hold the bottle. My neighbor's daughter is 4.5 months and she can hold her own bottle if she's reclined (like in the swing).
