I know no one really knows, but....

in 3rd Trimester

I have had increased braxton hicks, lost my mucus plug today (ewwww), and as of last week I was 90% effaced and only 1 cm dialated.

I wish I knew if this was good progress or if I will just sit like this for weeks

not trying to complain, but I think being on bedrest is starting to get to me!

might I go into labor soon? or just wishful thinking?

    Unfortunately it could be soon, or it could be another few weeks.  Wish I had a better answer for you Sad

    At 34 weeks I began losing my musous plug, was one cm dilated and 75 percent effaced. Last night I had painful contractions for 8 hours every 3 mn and then they just stalled out. Im still one cm and 75 percent. I t just depends. Keep it easy and keep him in there til hes full term :)

    No idea.  All I know is that we have the same due date and I'm not dilated AT ALL, at least I wasn't at my OB appointment yesterday, and I don't think I'm effaced at all yet either, so you're probably gonna go before me.  Smile

    Bedrest is a major mental doozy.  I was on it from 33-36 weeks, and it drove me crazy.  I was contracting all the time at 3 cm. and 50% effaced from 33-38 weeks, and I am now 4 cm., 75% effaced, having LOTS of contractions, lost my plug, dropped, and just hanging out.... sooo you COULD go into labor anytime now, but you also could wind up hanging out and going crazy for awhile longer, too.
