Dogs clingy before your labor?

Just wondering if any of you experienced your dogs acting really clingy before you gave birth. ?My dog won't leave my side now and follows me around the house (she was more independent before). ?

Did your pets act any different right before you went into labor??

My dog seems more sad,but then it may be in my head becuase I am more sad/worried for him feeling sad.

He wants to cuddle with me alot more.

Towards the end both my dogs got very clingy...they were somewhat clingy before I was pg. But now they follow DS every where.

Cute story...DS was taking his nap in his crib and woke up crying...I went in to get him and my shih tzu was sitting next to his crib waiting for me to get in there Smile

We had three cats. Two of which avoided me like the plague when I was pregnant and the third was clingy. It's completely normal that animals act different.

yes our younger dog was definitely clingy, he was also very protective of me while i was pregnant and is super protective of DD now. older dog had no clue what was going on and ignores DD now.

My female turned super clingy a couple weeks before I went into labor. She would even stand between me and the stove when I was cooking... soooo not like her at all. I had my baby last week and hadn't thought of it until now but she's definitely not acting like that anymore.

my cats remained up my butt 24/7 until baby came... now they want nothing to do with me lol
