NBR- shower door cleaner

Hi Ladies,

I have glass shower doors that keep getting streaky/cloudy with Tilex. I was using Method but I don't think it's strong enough. Anyone have a good door cleaner they can recommend?

Re: NBR- shower door cleaner

  • I go between using arm and hammer bathroom cleaner and scrubbing bubbles.

    Both work really well

  • Loading the player...
  • Limeaway or CLR

I douse it and let it sit for a few minutes. Everything comes off easily!?

  • I use vinegar and water. It works great and doesn't streak at all.
  • I just use a Magic Eraser, no cleaners at all.  But I second the vinegar/water suggestion, it works great on mirrors and windows so I imagine shower doors would work too.

Me too! Magic Erasers are like my crack, I go through like 3 a week.?

    50/50.

ETA: I just mix some up in a spray bottle. It goes a long way.

  • Also, get a squeggee (sp?).  We have one and squeegee down the entire shower and the door ever day after we shower and it really prevents soap scum build up and mildew.  If DH is resistant to having to do this, just point out that it means cleaning the shower will only take a few minutes w/ little scrubbing instead of 15-30 mins of lots of scrubbing.
