Please add me.

Thanks!
Wow- I can't believe how far up the list my name is moving. I'm so freaking excited, sometimes I wonder how I'll be able to wait another 10 weeks. I just want to kiss and hold my baby. But I will wait, because the last thing I want is her coming too early.
Baby is just going through a major growth spurt right now. My stomach feels so tight sometimes I think it will burst. We have a u/s next week to try for the third time to get a look at her spine. I'm excited to see her again.
We're picking up the crib tonight (after being sent the wrong color originally, and don't get me started on JCPenneys return policy when they made the mistake) and will put it together tomorrow morning. We'll have all the basics of the nursery done then. I just need to work on decor now. I have to be creative since we can't paint because our house is on the market. I think some wall clings and art work wil get the job done though.
Good Morning and Happy Friday ladies!
Feeling good here and getting a bit anxious for our appointment next tuesday. I can't believe how time is flying by this pregnancy. I have even started on the Blog bandwagon. I am trying to be good and update it as often as I can.
I'll be 19 weeks on Sunday and I'm registered to run a half marathon that day. I'm just going to take it slow. I miss the hoopla of fall race days, so I signed up - even though 10-11 miles now is hard. My AFP tests came back negative, so I'm relieved the risk for down's and neural tube defects is so low
And we found out recently that we're having a boy! And two of my friends took the lead in offering to throw me a shower, so a date is picked
But the little guy is really starting to grow and take up room...
Thanks for changing my user name. Thanks for keeping doing such a good job on this Check-In.
All went well with my weekly Biophysical Profile today so I'm very pleased about that. My DS is responding well to his medication for H1N1. I'm so glad I'm on Tamiflu because I definitely feel sick but, not nearly as much as I would without the intervention!
4 more weeks!!
Big - 1 year old
Bigger - 6 years old
Biggest - 13 years old
Well, as of today, just 4 weeks left until our little girl's EDD. Can't believe it...I'm still in awe when I feel or see her move. Had my OB appointment yesterday - BP was high when I first went in, but lowered to 124/80 the second time. Had to bring in my 24 hour pee bucket (2nd one now), and should have results Monday. They put me on a monitor for about 30 minutes to check her HB and to see if I was having contractions - we're both fine. Go in for weekly appointments now - still on modified bed rest. Still so much to do, though - DH does what he can, but he just doesn't cook/clean the way I do. Poor thing burnt dinner last night - he felt so bad....so we ended up having Taco Bell instead.
Feeling pretty good for the most part....guess I'm just getting used to the aches and pains (that, or I'm just tired of whining about them).
Chugging along... and other than the Pre-E scare, we're all good.
Trying to get the house organized, etc.
And an early good luck to all my comrades at the top of the list! We're getting SO close!!!!
Hi! Could I please be added?
Due date: 12/22/09
Age: 37
Sex: Unknown
Thanks so much!!
I cannot believe the end is so close now! I am feeling great - the only issue I'm fighting is some nasty carpal tunnel pain in my right hand. As long as I wear my brace and ice it every so often, I am A-OK! She has been very active and based on the kicks I've been feeling, she has definitely moved down, closer to position. I was 50% effaced on Monday and still closed. We did an u/s for size measurements and she looked great! She's measuring a few days ahead of my EDD, so I keep hoping for my Halloween baby!!! Next appointment is on Wednesday, so I am hoping for a little progress.
I hope all of you lovely ladies are feeling well and have a great weekend
Well, we're hanging in there. I'm in a weird place between feeling like the end is really close, and yet I still have at least two months left (god-willing).
My baby shower is set for next Saturday, and although it's quite small I'm looking forward to spending time with my closest girls. AND I'm excited to take my 8 year old princess with me to have a "girly" party.
Hope you are all well, and that when your time comes things go safely and as painless as possible
I'm nearing the end of my 1st Trimester and so far everything is great! I'm an avid runner and have kept to running 4-5 miles, 5 days a week. I was actually signed up for the Chicago Marathon (yes, I was training for a marathon when I found out I was pregnant) but only ran half of it (at a very slow pace and with a heart rate moniter) out of concern for the LO.
Yesterday I just had my 1st Trimester screening and, while we don't have the results from the blood test back yet, the doc said that it looks like a perfect little baby!!! Nuchal Sac measured at 1.2mm (yay!), 2 arms, 2 legs, good size and I heard the heartbeat (167 bpm)! Strong like bull!!!
We found out this week that we're having a boy! The doctor is "99% sure"...we saw the goods, too, so we think he's right. Our next u/s is in about four and a half weeks.
I'm in maternity clothes now...they are still a little loose, but way more comfortable than my regular clothes with the BE band.
Now, I'm just waiting to feel some movement. The u/s tech said I have a fundal placenta (top of uterus), so I hope to feel something within the next 3 weeks!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Hi everyone! Our big news for the week is that the amnio came back perfect and confirmed that Libby's still a girl. Which is great news because I'd consider divorce before I had to go through and agree on another boy name with dh
I had to have a root canal yesterday. Not so much fun. The anasthetic they use on pg women only lasts for 5-10 minutes, so I got 14 needles in my mouth while they worked through the root of my tooth. It still took 2 hours+ to wear off after, though! Anyway, I survived and it wasn't too bad.
