We don't want to use Cassidy or Cassandra. I read that Cassie is also a
nickname for Katherine, which we like, but that's a stretch. Wondering
if anyone knows anyone named Cassie and what their full name is.
Definitely an option to just name her Cassie, but I feel like she would always be asked what her full name is. My brother's name is Sam.. just Sam and people always ask him if it's full for Samuel. I'm team green so it might not be an issue anyway, but I really do love the name Cassie.
I'm a Cassandra who goes by Cassie. If you don't like Cassandra or Cassidy, just name her Cassie. I have a friend whose given name is Maggie (not short for anything) and she's never been bothered by it.
I've never heard of anything other than Cassidy or Cassandra, but if you like Cassie than just name her Cassie! I have a friend named Jenny who is just Jenny--no Jennifer. She loves her name! She's even named her daughter Abby--no Abigail.

I only know Cassie as being short for Cassandra but I say just go for Cassie if that is what you like. We named DS Max because we weren't as crazy about the longer names that Max is a nickname for. People sometimes ask me if it "just Max?" or "is Max short for anything?" but I just tell them he is "just" Max. It hasn't annoyed me yet
You could use it without it being a nickname for something. I knew a Cassie growing up and in college and she is quite successful. She's the first person to come to mind when I hear the name.

You could use Cassius (cash-us or cass-ee-is, depending on how you want to pronounce it), but it is a boys name, although lots of boys names are giong to the girls these days.
Cassander is also another one, kind of masculine though.
Re: XP: from name board - Full name for Cassie
I don't know anyone named Cassie whose full name isn't Cassandra, but Acacia would be pretty.
Why not just name her Cassie?
Why can't the full name just be Cassie?
My niece is Kassi, short for Kassiandra.
