What were your favors for your baptism (if you had them)

I know there are lots of people who do not do favors, but I like to give them out.  Plus we are only having 35 people including kids, so it is not like it will cost tons of $$.

What did you give out for favors.  I like the idea of edible favors.  I can make personalized candy bar wrappers, and I was also thinking maybe custom cookies.

Anyone have any ideas?  Edible or not.

Thanks

  • I went to one a few years ago and they did cross cookies with blue icing. My favorite favor because DH and I aren't really religious so it was nice that it was something we could use/have.

  • This is what we did - https://www.myitalianweddingfavors.com/catalog/item/6854039/6809115.htm

They are hand towels wrapped up like a lollipop.  Too cute. If you look at the entire collection they have a ton of cute hand towels wrapped up into cute desserts.

  • I am going to make the white chocolate suckers. I hope I can find a mold with a cross on it.

I have also done rod pretzels dipped in Chocolate and rolled in sprinkles or nuts or mini chocolate chips or swirled with white or milk chocolate. Then put in a bag and tied with a ribbon.

  • I had originally considered making glass magnets becuase they could be customized to our color scheme and still be a useful gift for our guests. We reconsidered, however, and ended up doing donations to a children's charity. We put a frame on each table explaining a little bit about what a blessing our DS is to us that we wanted to help other LOs. It felt like the right thing to do after having been given such a blessing after so much heartache.
