and know within 2 days when you ovulated, was "your" due date the same as what the doctor said your due date was based on u/s measurements? I hear of sooo many women saying that their due dates were a week different then what the doc said after doing an u/s so I was just wondering. I have a normal 28 day cycle and am 90% sure I ovulated on day 14 so I am assuming my due date should be accurate right?
I know in the long run it really makes little difference but right now everyday is huge!!! LOL
Re: If you had a normal 28 day cycle
BFP(4) DD2 born 2.14.13 @ 35w5d due to pPROM
this cycle was 28 or 29 days, but before that was 22 (I BF) so I have no clue, though I think I O'd around the 28th of Sept. Either way, im going by my LMP and that puts my EDD 6/21.
With DS I knew when I O'd give or take a day, and it put me 4 days earlier than my EDD based on my LMP. Well I had Finn 5 days before my LMP EDD. SO even though the doc said my EDD was later, I still had him around the EDD I had in my mind based on conception. It all equals out eventually.
EDD calculators based on LMP (and your doctor for that matter) use CD14 as your O date. So yes, if you ovulated on that day it should be "accurate".
FWIW, I have a due date from my dr, but I don't use it. It's not what my ticker is based off of or what I tell people when they ask how far along I am.
I used a ClearBlue Easy Monitor and I am pretty sure I know when I ovulated...
I have a 30 day cycle.
My DD is April 17, 19, 22, or 25...
It keeps chaning...
Based on LMP, my EDD is May 28th.
Based on ovulation day, my EDD is May 31st or June 1st.
At my u/s yesterday, the baby measured perfectly for my ovulation day. However, my dr. doesn't change the due date unless it is more than 5 days different from the LMP due date. So we're sticking with May 28th. Ok by me.
DD1 - july 2008
DD2 - may 2010

My LO was measuring 3 days smaller than the due date we calculated. And I had IUIs AND was temping the cycle we conceived so no doubt about when I O'd and conceived.
Doc didn't change my due date but said it can be off by this much because of implantation timing
