We chose Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel and hoped nobody was paying attention by the third verse which we're pretty sure is about drugs.
"I am a kind of paranoiac in reverse. I suspect people of plotting to make me happy." J.D. Salinger

Re: What was (or will be or would be) your first dance song?
I won't know until the dance. Not that we've planned our wedding yet, but FI has already requested to choose and let it be a surprise.
I told him he could choose, but I'm on the fence about not being able to veto.
Knowing me, I'll probably just let him do it. It'll be one less thing to think about.
She's Everything by brad Paisley
Our last dance was: I'll Stand by You by The Pretenders
"You Are So Beautiful to Me" by Joe Cocker (sp??). The words were how we both felt about each other.
Our second song which was almost our first was "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green.
We had two...a slow dance and one more upbeat:
Ever the Same - Rob Thomas
Everything - Michael Buble
Our last dance was a group dance and we played:
I Had the Time of My Life - (can't remember who sings it...but its that Dirty Dancing song...)
OOh! This is one of my favorite parts of weddings - I love the first dance.
Our song was "Just Like Heaven" originally by the Cure, but covered by Katie Melua.
Our last song was "Be Mine" by David Gray
Well I think I'll be 50 by the time we plan our wedding but the songs I want are:
All for One by Bryan Adams, Sting & ROd Stewart
Everything by Michael Buble
And we want to walk in to Born to be my baby by Bon Jovi
Greatest Story Ever Told by Oliver James.
My first choice would have been Heaven by Bryan Adams, but DH wasn't on board.
If we still get married (lol), we won't do a big wedding.
When we were planning a bigger wedding, the song was going to be Amores como nuestro by Jerry Rivera.
Something in the way she moves - James Taylor
My sappy, but wonderful, DH said that song always reminded him of me :-)?
The Frank Sinatra version of It Had to Be You. It's also engraved in our wedding bands.
Everytime I close my eyes - babyface
It was our song in high school and our first dance song.
