Last night was pretty restless - for us all. DD woke up several times just wiggling around in her crib and being otherwise restless. I fed her once (she's FF) and she fell right back to sleep but woke up as soon as I put her in her crib. She woke up again a few hours later and I tried to give her her paci, rub her, Shhhh her, etc. without picking her up - FAIL. So I picked her up and rocked her until she was pretty much asleep. Put her in the crib and she woke back up, crying. I gave her the paci and turned on her seahorse and she stopped wiggling and fell asleep just as it turned off.
I'm wondering if it's the cooler temps. in her room - it's about 67 now where it was 75ish over the summer. I put her in a long-sleeved onesie and socks under her swaddle me, but I'm trying to decide if she:
A. Was cold
B. Is starting to not like the swaddle
C. Is starting the wakeful...
Any advice?
Re: In your experience: Cooler temps. = restless baby?
DS sleeps BETTER now that it's cold. We keep the house at 67 degrees around the clock. He sleeps 7pm~5am, nurses, then goes back down to 7am. He used to wake up 2-4 times a night.
We successfully deswaddled about 3 weeks ago. Now DS sleeps in a footed sleeper with a crocheted blanket over him.
