Recognize some of you from the miscarriage board. I had a missed miscarriage and a D&C on 9/25/09. I'm here because I'm a rebel-only with a cause I guess. Dr said to wait three cycles-standard, but I don't want to waste anytime. Took me about 1 year just to get pregnant with this one so thinking I could concieve right after a m/c is probably laughable. It gives me something to do and look forward to Wink

    02/08 BFP resulted in m/c 4/10/08 (11 weeks)
    10/08 Clomid Cycle #1 = m/c 11/7/08 (6 weeks)
    03/09 Clomid Cycle #2 = BFN
    3 rounds of Femara + Ovidrel + IUI =BFN
    10/18/09 2nd Break Cycle (post HSG) before IVF #1 = BFP!

    Hello and welcome. I don't blame you for not wanting to wait.  3 cycles seems like a long time considering you were still in your first tri?  I know Ob's vary a lot but it seems like for early losses most of the ladies on here were told they could start right away or just needed to wait 1 cycle unless there was some complication like a molar or ectopic...Anyway, hope your stay is short and sweet!

    Hi and welcome! I am sorry about your loss. We decided not to wait after our second loss because we didn't want to loss an opportunity. I think if it is a healthy pg it will stick no matter how long (or not long) you wait. Good luck!

    Your story is similar to mine. It took me well over a year to get pg the first go around. Hopefully your stay here will be short. Welcome!

    I tell all the impatient gals about BrainySmurfette---she's now on SAL after not waiting! She got a bfp right off and has been fine as far as I know. You may want to ask for her over on SAL and see what her opinion is about things.

    I'm sorry for your loss. It's a wonderful board of women----but not for the greatest reason! I hope you find this board as healing/welcoming as I did!
