where is the strangest place you've ever BF?

me: never ever did i even realize i'd do it in public at all, but thanks to the hooter hider and a starving kid that eats all the time i've had to do so or i'd never leave the house.

strangest place: last week on the subway in downtown chicago! not rush hour, so it wasn't packed. and i was sitting in a seat with the wall on one side, DH on the other and the hooter hider covering the whole space in between. not sure anyone but the people directly across from us realized. but DS was starving and screaming and i did what i had to do. NEVER thought i'd do that!

I did it at lunch sitting at the table in a restaurant. Not really strange- but beyond what I ever thought I would be comfy doing before I started bf'ing. I was very proud.

At County Fair.

There was a spot for breastfeeding moms, but I was accross the grounds from it and sitting on a bench. There was a cow nursing her calf about 5 feet from us. I figured I could nurse Jacob. I did use a cover.

Oh Lordy... everywhere and usually cover less. I live in a very progressive hippie area and no one even bats an eyelash which has given me a lot of confidence.

On an airplane, at a Cubs game, at lunch, in church (after his baptism.. with a cover).

The funniest is at my friend's birthday party.. here's a picture, I had no idea I was in the shot.

I'm not BFing anymore, but when I was I BFed all sorts of random places - the most random was probably in the trunk of my Explorer while watching a baseball game (I parked backwards and was sitting on the tailgate watching the game, so I just shut the bottom part and kept the top window open and fed DD while sitting in the trunk.

I've only ever BF at home or in the hospital. As far as pumping I think the weirdest I've done is in the car on the hwy- I was a passenger but i felt weird with all the people in passing cars looking at me confused.. i was wearing a coverup but still got weird looks.

I feed EVERYWHERE! I have done it at Busch Stadium (where the Cardinals play), at my husband's softball games, in restaurants, at parties, at work in the cafeteria (kinda wierd).....it all just seems so natural to me, I have no problem using my cover. We call it the MAGIC CAPE, it started at the beginning at a birthday party with my friends....they said it looked like a cape.

NYC subway. It was my older daughter's birthday and we were meeting people at Central Park and couldn't wait. She was in the moby and had a sunhat on that blocked anything that might have been visible I'm pretty sure nobody on the subway suspected a thing.

I breastfeed DD anywhere we happen to be. I don't even bother covering most of the time. That is what boobs are *for* and if people are offended, they can just deal with it. It's a boob. Everyone has seen one before. It's not like I'm flashing my 'gina around!

On the couch of a tailgating bus that my husband and his friends rennovated right after college. This oblivious, awkward guy (friend of a friend) came and sat RIGHT next to the boob DS was on and started eating. Wouldn't have been bad except DS kept squirming and pulling off the boob so I ended up giving up. Don't even think the dude realized what was going on.

BTW...the bus was not moving...

Geez - I breastfeed everywhere. My favorite was while walking through Animal Kingdom Park at Disney World. I have become an expert at BFing while walking around (ie: chasing 3 year old) with this baby. And I don't need the My Brest Friend, either. Take that Michelle Duggar!
