Quick update before I have to go take my husband to the doctor's (for the second time this week. He is very sick!) I may not be on much this week becuase my husband is sick, and I am trying to take care of him as much as possible. Plus I am trying to get my house ready to sell and packing up 3 years of stuff that I don't remember buying.
BUT on the baby front I have awesome news..... I have started feeling baby kick and move (only when I am laying down to sleep even if its just for a quick cat nap) BabyRed seem to not want me to sleep I get so excited when I feel it.
And as promised my Blooming belly......

I had my 15 week appointment yesterday baby's HR was 155 (girl?). I also scheduled my BIG U/S for November 4th
Only 3 weeks away and I'm so excited!!!
I'm not looking forward to waddling around in the snow. Of course, that's from now till March, not just a Holiday thing.
I'm also not looking forward to no drinking on New Years and probably missing nights out with my friends while they're home for Christmas.
Other than that (which is not a big deal to me) I'm really excited.
Hi ladies! I got my dopplar today! Its like christmas! lol. I was able to find him/her. I would find the heartbeat on one side, it would disappear, then i would find it all the way on the other side. I hope you all are having a great day, off to do housework...YUCK!
QOTD- I am not looking forward to the 8-9 hour drive to Michigan to see our families. We have already forewarned our parents we may not being going. Depends on how i feel.

I am looking forward to being pregnant around the holidays!! The only thing I am going to miss this year is sledding :-)
This is going to sound really materialistic, but a benefit I just thought of today about being pregnant around the holidays: I can just ask for money towards baby furniture instead of anything for myself for Christmas. (Don't get me wrong, I don't EXPECT anything, but when DH's parents ask for ideas, that's what I can give them).
I'm also really excited to wear these cute sweater dresses with my belly, and a really cute red wool coat I got. I'm glad I don't have to be pregnant during the hot summer.
And baby will arrive right as it starts to warm up and we can get outside a bunch. (Not really holiday-related, but still.)

I had my appointment Monday and everything went great. I got to hear the heartbeat it in the 150's..such a wonderful sound. It took a couple seconds for her to find it and I was getting worried and then I heard it thumping right along. My next appointment is November 9th and they said then we will schedule our big ultrasound.
I am looking forward to being pregnant around Christmas and enjoying all the wonderful food. I am glad I will be pregnant in the winter and get to wear all the big sweaters instead of little summer clothes. I am going to miss drinking on New Years Eve but I can get over that. I just hope I get a burst of energy before then so I can make it till midnight.

Turns out we are having TWINS
Went to NT scan yesterday and got that surprise. HRs are 167 and 169 and both were super active. I also have my next appointment with my regular OB on the 19th.
I am looking forward to the holidays because I know were going to get lots of baby stuff, and now that we know were having twins...we're going to need it!
hahhahahaha...and I'm jealous of your noticeable-to-strangers-cute-bump! No one can tell I'm "showing" yet, except DH and I. But that's probably because I admire my profile in front of the mirror neked all the time.
I love the holidays though this year I don't know about Thanksgiving. DH and I usually do a Wednesday night Thanksgiving with his mom (she visit's her SO's family in Boston on Turkey Day) and then on Thursday we have my mother my brother (if he's not deployed and doesn't have his kids for the holiday) and DH's two brothers and their SO's (if they are dating anyone at the time). I hope that my mom can come on Wednesday night to help with Thursdays activities since I don't know where I will be energy wise.
Christmas is always a crazy event which kicks off on Christmas Eve (with FIL's side of the family) and runs until Day of the Kings (my whole family) so I know that baby will get a TON of stuff then, which I am excited for.
I LOVE the holiday's! But I guess I'll have to miss out on drinking the hot milled hard apple cider at thanksgiving this year
I have my next appt on Friday, we should be hearing the heartbeat then! Yay! My m/s seems to be becoming less and less often which is nice.
My next appointment is October 23rd and I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again!
As for the holidays...they will be bittersweet this year since Sammie won't be with us. Not really looking forward to them this year. Last week was my DHs birthday and he just sat with me and cried because he wanted Samantha to be there celebrating. So I can't imagine how the holidays will be...

Well I'm very excited about being pregnant during the holidays! First of all, all the gifts that we'll recieve from family members for the baby. Also...all the cute winter stuff you get the wear in maternity clothes. I'll have a spring baby...AND I'm going to be bigger and can't wait to see all of our family together. AND thanksgiving we'll be telling everyone what we're having! YAY!
