I can't move my legs

in 3rd Trimester

I can't even walk...  When I move my legs to walk or just move on the couch, I get an intense pain in my inner thy and crotch area.  

I called my doc and he said that the baby is probably bearing down and hitting a nerve.  He suggested that I lay down and take a bath.  

I don't know what I'm going to do if this keeps up...  Has anyone else experienced this pain?

    Over the past 3-4 days LO has been doing the same thing, just not as intense and for only a couple seconds. I hope your LO moves soon though, because it is not comfortable!

    Yes and it is horrible.  I totally freaked out the first time it happened because I have never had a problem like that or pain like that.  Now it happens fairly often but it passes.  It doesn't make it any less painful though, but I am getting used to it.  He said she is probably just pushing on my nerves with her pretty little head.  I hope you feel better soon and that it passes quickly.

    I get this the most after laying down and then trying to move or get up. ?I found that laying down with a thick fluffy pillow between my legs seems to help. ?A nurse at the hospital told me that it helps keep the pelvis open and gives the baby more room.

    Is it on one side or both? It could be SPD. Google that! Otherwise I feel your pain. If it doesn't get better or gets worse call your doctor back!

    I've had this for two days now, but only on the left side.  I don't have any words of comfort because I can barely walk and when I do... I pretty much drag my left leg along but, know that you aren't alone!
