I know, a weight post...
I have gained 44 lbs. so far (ugh...) but I swear it's almost all in my belly. I've been a little bit amazed, frankly, that I haven't just "widened" all over. My face hasn't puffed up, my ass hasn't gotten huge, etc. My thighs are a little big, but that's the only other area that's noticeable.
I don't know that this means anything, and I'm still going to have a b*tch of a time losing the weight, but I'm just curious how/where others have gained.
Re: Do you look like you've gained as much as you have?
I've gained 20 so far, and I guess it's all baby because that is what everyone says.
I keep waiting to wake up with a puffy face and fat ass, but it hasn't happened yet.
::fingers crossed::
I've gained 30+. To people who don't know me, they tell me it's all in my belly. But I've gained in my hands and feet, my thighs (seriously, the stretch marks there are hideous!) and my face.
Oh, and my arms.
I'm a really petite girl, I started out at 105lbs (I'm 5'0")
At my last appointment I was at 128lbs.
Honestly, I feel the same way. It's all in my belly. My thighs probably got a little bigger, but it could be muscle too? I am on my feet a lot during the day and the store I work in has tons of stairs I climb often.
But everyone mentions that I haven't changed a bit, just my belly.
I'm expecting for it to branch out into the rest of my body soon... or at least in the last month.

I have gained 11 pounds so far and everyone says it is all in my belly. YEAH! I hope it stays that way!
nope. I've gained 33 lbs so I know it's not all belly! But even DH has commented about how it's not in my face or anywhere else this time like it was last. Just for kicks, I tried on an old pair of jeans last night and I was still able to get them up.. just not buttoned or zipped of course! LOL So I know it's not just my imagination. I'm not sure where the weight is all going...
I keep thinking.. if I went into labor now and immediately lost the weight I did w/ #1 (20 lbs lighter going home from the hospital), then I would be about at my pp weight from before having DD#1 (started 10 lbs lighter this time). Wouldn't that be awesome!! LOL. Come on baby!

I've gained a lot of weight - about 45 pounds. I don't feel like I look like I've gained that much. My arms and legs and butt are a little bigger, but it really is mostly in my massive belly.
Sadly none of it went to my boobs.

Just think about what a 20lb weight gain would "sound like" to you pre - pg. It's super shocking. But AS A PG lady, 23 lbs is NOTHING! LOL. People just have no idea until they have been there. I'm sure she was just trying to be nice.

I have gained about 50lbs and I think it is all in my butt and thighs. I guess I should have said no to more junk. LOL Oh well!!!
