Anyone who wants to join me can.

I went back to work this year b/c DH is going back to school and we needed insurance. The insurance that my school district has is crap. I hate it. I swear, I'd rather pay out of pocket for the insurance we had before.

I spent 10 min on hold this morning trying to get an appointment for C only to talk to some person answering the phone who told me a nurse would call me back and decide if we really need to come in. Come on people. I'd take her to the pedi we had before this insurance and pay out of pocket, but we tried that Wednesday and got refused service. They said since DD had insurance, letting us pay out of pocket would be against the law. What kind of BS is that?

That's sounds crazy. How is it fraud if you want to pay out of pocket? I would be livid that my child had fever and I was turned away. Did you ask to speak with the office manager?
