Please help with B's Halloween costume

She is suppose to be a ladybug. I made her a red tutu and am having a hard time coming up with something to make the black dots. I went to a craft store last night, but didnt have much time to look around.

Also, she is wearing black pants and a black top. Should I do anything to the pants or top to make it look more bugish?

Does anyone have any suggestion on what I could do with a red tutu that is not a ladybug?

  • Use a sharpie to color big black dots on it?

ETA: You can also get some red ric-rack and hot-glue it onto the collar or around the torso of the shirt to make it look "buggy" :-)

I was thinking felt if you wanted something fast, or just get some black fabric and sew it on. Since that dots don't have to be perfectly spaced you could just put them on wherever it looks right.
