30 weeks with twins and now on bedrest

I thought that life was plenty interesting for me what with having bilateral carpal tunnel surgery on Friday and finally hitting 30 weeks.  I was wrong.  I went in for my 30 week check-up today and my dr. checked my cervix just to be safe.  All of a sudden I hear, "Weeellll.....".  My response was, "I don't like the sound of that...."

Apparently I am dialated to about 2 and 60% effaced.  Did I mention that I'm only 30 weeks....???  So I got sent to the hospital to get a shot that will help speed up the development of both babies' lungs just in case they decide to come early.  They monitored me for contractions.  Apparently I had four in an hour and fifteen minutes.  I felt none of them.  I have to go back to get a second shot tomorrow and am now on bedrest. 

*sigh*  I'm sticking to the opinion that neither of these two are done cooking yet.....Mommy would really really appreciate it if you two would stay in there for a little bit longer.  Thanks in advance A & B.
