music during labor

Im thinking of thie kind of music that they play at day spas. Any know where I can find it and what I would call it. I was going to look on itunes. Any other ideas of good relaxing music?

    I'm not sure where you can find that music, but I know when I was in labor I didn't want any noise at all.

    My spa usually has nature type music. It reminds me of those CD's at places like Target (in those little machines you can sample).

    but the playlist on my ipod that is labled "labor music" is by no means calming spa like stuff haha.....as a matter of fact I think i have a few Manson songs on there :D

    I plan on having music...but not necessarily spa-like music.  More of music that I enjoy calming down to on a long car ride home after work.  I'm thinking Death Cab for Cutie right now or Fleet Foxes.  But, check out Target for the music you are looking for.  I think they have a display of this type of music near the greeting cards.

    I actually liked the music during my labor (although only instrumental spa like stuff- no words!) and I found it relaxing... but I know that as the labor progressed I didn't care. However, early on in labor it was fantastic :)

    My yoga instructor recommended "liquid mind". Check it out on Pandora first to see if you like it then you can order it from itunes. It's super soothing and relaxing....no words, just mellow and calming.
