Success after IF

First Tri Girls

There are so many new girls here, I just want to clear something up. I went to my first OB app. at 10 weeks today and there was no heartbeat. I am 42. It sucks but as soon as the Dr saw no HB he reminded me of my age, ( thank you, I know ) At my age this is so much more expected then the average age of this group so I really, really hope I didnt make any 1st tri girls nervous. Your eggs are much younger then mine and chances are slim to none that this will happen to you. Love You and looking forward to coming back here.

  • You owe no one an apology.  I am so very sorry for you and your situation.  Dont worry about us- we are fine.  Take care of yourself!!!  Hope to see you back.  Thought and prayers sent your way!
  • That's nice of you to say but personally, you don't have to worry about making me nervous.  I'm there on my own as I've had many losses myself.  I just wish nobody ever had to go through this.

We can't wait for you to come back as well.  Take good care of yourself.

  • I'm so sorry you are going through this and your words here will be very beneficial to many, but just to reassure you, this really can happen to anyone.  I had my m/c at 27 and went on to have a successful pgcy and I hope you do too.  Thanks again, and good luck to you

  • So, so sorry for your loss.  Hang in there. :(
  • I'm so sorry again for your loss - don't worry about making anyone here nervous - I think most of us are nervous Nellies by nature anyway.
  • You will be back here!  I really admire your optimism. And it's so thoughtful of you to be thinking of others during this very difficult painful time. I can't believe the doctor said that to you about your age. Of course you know that already!  And it doesn't hurt any less to have a loss no matter what your age is.  I hope he told you it's a really good sign that you have had the BFPs, even if they've been followed by the losses.  You can get pg and hopefully soon one will be your baby. Good luck.
