nosy co-workers

why can't co-workers mind their own business? It's DH that has this issue actually. he's trying to think of an excuse for taking off tomorrow so that his co-workers don't know the real reason is for my d&e. he knows the ladies there will be asking him why he was off.  We can't really come up with anything good that would get them off his back. I keep saying to tell them to mind their own business.

    I had the same problem when I was off.  I told my boss, but there was one girl I didn't want to tell, so I told her I had the swine flu....  well, until my boss asked if she "knew"  ugh jerk.

    DS - 9/12/08 9 lbs 22.5 in.

    Natural M/C 9/21/09 at 8w 1d baby measured 6w 3d

    DS2 - 7/13/10 10 lb 2.5 oz. 21.5 in

    DD1 - 9/21/12 9 lbs 4 oz. 22.5 in 

    Baby #4 due Spring of 2014!

    If he is taking a sick day, just say a doctor's appointment.  Shouldn't be any of their business beyond that.

    We both told coworkers that I was having a surgical procedure.  No one asked questions.

    omg i know...i took a week off work right after my m/c. everyone was like we missed you why were u off? i told them i was sick and really didn't feel good...then one of my coworkers was like oh are you pregnant! ugh! it was horrible!

    oh jeez. sorry to hear you got that asked of you. I think DH is probably just going to go with me being sick. He already had to answer for why he was off last thursday, the day after we found out there was no heartbeat. He said I was sick then. A co-worker is convinced I am depressed after she hounded him for my 'symptoms' (which he made up).....well I am...technically...not why he took off tho...

    I completely understand. I took 2 days off work & when I came back my coworkers kept asking me if I enjoyed my day off, what did i do, did i relax away from the office, etc etc etc....ugh i would have rather been at work than what I went through
